All are invited to join in celebrating community and God’s breakthrough on Christmas Eve in Putney. The United Church of Putney will host its annual Candlelight Carol Walk at 6:30 pm, followed by a candlelit worship service at 7:00 pm on Monday, December 24.
People of all ages are welcome to gather at the parking lots of the Putney Post Office or Basketville at 6:30 pm. Candles and songbooks will be provided as the community walks toward the United Church of Putney, singing the songs of the season. In the event of rain or sleet, caroling will take place inside the United Church of Putney at 6:30 pm.
The caroling will continue, along with storytelling, prayers, and special music as Christmas Eve worship for all ages begins at 7:00 pm in the church sanctuary. The United Church of Putney, located in Putney village across from Silver Forest, is an open and affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ. All are welcome.
