Town Hall Office Hours The Town Clerk & Treasurer's office will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 4 due to the Labor Day Holiday.
Primary Election Voting will take place on Tuesday, August 24 at the Putney Fire Station. Polls will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Putney wins grant for PACE program The town of Putney has been selected to receive $72,000 to create a PACE program. PACE stands for property assessed clean energy. Putney Town Party to Be Rescheduled The Putney Town Party, originally scheduled for March 20, has been canceled due to conflicting events scheduled on the same evening. I will post further detail as soon as possible.
Pre-Town Meeting on Thursday
The Pre-Town Meeting which was cancelled yesterday will be held Thursday, February 25, 7:00 PM at the Town Hall. (Please note the change in location --- the previously scheduled meeting was to be held at the library).
Putney to Host Fifth Annual "Democracy Party" Putney is continuing its successful tradition of candidate forums, dubbed by all “Democracy Parties”, the Putney Selectboard, School Board, and Town Clerk are hosting a fifth annual informational event on elected town offices. This forum for potential town officer candidates will be held on Thursday, January 21st at 6:30 PM in the Putney Public Library on Main Street. The event is free and light refreshments will be served.We are looking for people to campaign as candidates for the following positions: Auditor – 2 & 3 year Cemetery Commission – 2 & 3 year Grand Jurors (2) – 1 year
